After school & Weekend Programs: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Saturday
Location: Rosebud Art Studio, 777 Coney Island Avenue, #C2, Brooklyn, NY 11218
Rosebud Art Studio is offering after-school program on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Weekend program on Saturdays and also the Foundation Program for children 10 years and older on Wednesdays. These programs run all through the current 2025-26 school year. Our Afterschool programs run as follows:
Program Paul Cézanne – Monday, Program Edvard Munch – Tuesday, Program Georges Seurat – Wednesday, Program Louise Bourgeois –Thursday and Program Pablo Picasso – Saturday. Students can register for one or more programs. Students will explore two-dimensional and three-dimensional media using drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture materials and tools. Students will also work on the pottery wheel all through the year.
After-School Programs begin at 3.00 PM and concludes at 5.00/6.00 PM on a typical day. (Students will be picked up from the school by 2.30 PM . Students will have a snack break at the studio between 2.45 PM and 3.00 PM. Students will bring their own snack from home)
Students can choose to attend a 2-hour or a 3-hour class according to their preference. A one-year commitment is required and a 6 month payment plan is available. An extended payment plan, could be made available upon request. Rolling admissions are offered all through the school year. School Pickup (elementary school – walking pickup) from PS139, PS217, PS134 and PS889 are available on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. School pick-up service fee is $15 per day. After-school Programs start on September 8, 2025 and conclude on June 25, 2026.
Rosebud Art Studio is also offering weekend classes on Saturday for students who are eager to learn the nuances of drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture techniques. Program Pablo Picasso will explore the greatest master’s cubist methods and techniques. The artistic genius of Picasso alone can fulfill the creative urges of a student through the various mediums taught at Rosebud Art Studio.

Rosebud Art Studio is at PS 889 for the second year now!
Rosebud Art Studio has joined hands with PS889 and has launched its afterschool art program at the PS 889 campus for the 2025-26 school year! Our After school program for the students of PS 889 is on Wednesday-Program Henri Rousseau. Students will explore two-dimensional and three-dimensional media using drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture materials and tools.

Policy on Missed Classes
At Rosebud Art Studio, we are committed to providing an exceptional learning experience for all our students. To ensure clarity, we would like to inform students and parents about our policy regarding missed classes:
Make-Up Classes:
Students who are unable to attend their scheduled classes may take make-up sessions at our main art studio located at 777, Coney Island Avenue, #C2, Brooklyn, NY 11218. This ensures continuity in their learning and artistic development.
Non-Refundable Fees:
Please note that tuition fees for unattended classes are non-refundable. This policy allows us to maintain the quality and resources needed for all our students.
